About
The sound
2manydjs is the DJ project of Belgian brothers David and Stephen Dewaele, who also perform as the band Soulwax. Their mixing brings recordings from different styles into shared rhythmic sequences, with As Heard On Radio Soulwax pt.2 providing a central example of their approach. The mix returned in a twentieth-anniversary vinyl and CD edition and is also available digitally through Apple Music. Their mix catalogue includes Blue, Celestial Voyage, Benelux, D&SCO, Jack In The Box, Tribute To Compass Point and Hardcore Or Die, alongside recordings from Primavera Festival and Kompass in Ghent. The brothers’ wider work includes the DEEWEE label, the Despacio sound system and the Radio Soulwax app and website. These related projects provide context while remaining distinct from 2manydjs’ DJ sets and mix releases.
