ACA

About

The sound

ACA, also credited as ACA (YU), is a DJ and producer whose recordings move between house and tech-house, often incorporating his own vocals. His early work in German clubs preceded a catalogue issued through imprints including TOZLA, Bamboleo, Moan, PIV, Nervous Records and Clarisse. He co-founded TOZLA with Mene, with whom he has released White Ride, Slavic Ghetto and other collaborations. Further recordings include At the Jam on Lotusland Records, Down To Shake on Mood Child and Illegal Rave on ACCUSED. His public music hub also documents work with Reelow, Mendo, Marcellus and Puhska. The ACA (YU) credit is important when navigating those releases, distinguishing this catalogue from unrelated artists using the shorter name. Original tracks, collaborations and edits such as his version of Sexy Back form the recorded side of his work alongside DJing.
