About
The sound
Alignment is an Italian DJ and producer whose techno connects industrial rhythms with the melodies and atmosphere of 1990s trance. Emerging in 2015, he developed a sound built around forceful kicks, deep basslines and reverberating synthesis, drawing attention within the European techno circuit. His recorded work spans Voxnox and Charlotte de Witte’s KNTXT, with releases including Infinity, Orderly Chaos, Time, Attack and Close Your Eyes. In 2024 he launched Orbital, extending his work into a label of his own. When the Bass Is Too Loud, Gravitational Wave and Hidden Frequencies appear in that catalogue, while Mystical Energy continued his KNTXT releases. His later collaboration with Space 92, Proton, adds another production partnership to a discography that combines hard techno’s physical impact with melodic rave influences.
