About
The sound
Alinka is a Ukraine-born DJ and producer raised in Chicago and based in Berlin since 2015. Chicago house forms the foundation of her music, alongside Detroit techno and a broader interest in European bass sounds. Record digging at Gramaphone and time on the city’s dancefloors preceded an extended residency at Justin Long’s .Dotbleep parties at Smartbar. She later developed Twirl with Shaun J. Wright, combining a party, label and continuing production partnership. Her releases have appeared on Rekids, Gudu, Permanent Vacation, Classic Music Company, DGTL and !K7. Her catalogue includes Moving Bodies, Eternal Groove, Day Dreamer, Touch the Flame and the 2026 Changes EP. That record brings together Rising Sun, Queen’s Groove, It’s Magic and Release, continuing the connection between her Chicago background and her own production work.
