About
The sound
Alisa Murphy is a DJ, producer and founder of Hardvision, a project rooted in Athens' underground electronic music scene. Her work extends beyond performing to creating a platform for local DJs, producers and collectives. In an interview with ElektroSpank, she described a desire to give emerging creators room to be heard and to connect different parts of the city's rave community. Hardvision uses a changing roster rather than a fixed group of resident DJs, with artistic freedom central to its approach. Murphy's interest in selection centres on the individual character and story within a set, bringing her activity as an artist together with her work as an organizer. The project has presented harder techno sounds in clubs and adapted spaces around Athens.
