About
The sound
Amaliah is a London DJ and producer whose sets move between house, techno, disco and the percussive edges of UK club music. Her listening and record digging were shaped by London’s soundsystem culture, including the dubstep era around Plastic People. Through Borne Fruits, her party collective and record label, she connects DJ practice with releasing her own productions and music by other artists. Borne Fruits 001 marked her production debut; subsequent work includes Borne Fruits 002, the Manifold EP on On Loop and Hypnosis on Peach Discs. Her catalogue also reaches TraTraTrax and Black Artist Database. A Rinse FM residency extends that selection through both solo shows and guests, with an archive of mixes on her SoundCloud. Her recorded sets for Boiler Room and HÖR reflect the same range beyond a single house or techno style.
