Âme is the German partnership of Frank Wiedemann and Kristian Beyer, who met through an independent music shop in Karlsruhe and began releasing together in the mid-2000s. The duo's catalogue includes Rej, Asa and the Howling collaboration with RY X, moving between deep house, techno and live electronics. Beyer is associated with the DJ side while Wiedemann develops the live setup; both are co-founders of Innervisions with Dixon. Their two-person identity remains consistent across club and live formats. Their studio work and live electronics keep the duo's producer identity audible in both intimate rooms and larger festivals.
