About
The sound
Amedeo Picone is a Naples DJ and producer whose house music draws on a childhood spent listening to his father’s records. His early musical path moved through funky house and tribal rhythms before expanding into tech house, minimal and techno. Selection through elrow’s Up & Coming Talent programme, alongside Florentia, brought him into its resident artist team. His recordings have appeared on Circus, Snatch!, Machaca and La Membrana, while releases such as “Hear Me,” “Over Me” and “Real Player” show the breadth of his studio catalogue. In 2023 he launched Peak One with “Hear Me,” creating an outlet intended to connect older house influences with contemporary production rather than follow one fixed style. That combination of family record culture, club experience and an independent label gives his work a clear link back to Naples.
