About
The sound
Amelie Lens is a Belgian DJ and producer whose techno combines driving rhythm with the presence of her own voice. Her debut release in 2016 began a recording career that expanded into the Lenske and EXHALE labels, alongside the EXHALE party series and her radio show. The radio archive presents her selections beyond the club booth, while compilations including fabric presents Amelie Lens and a contribution to Global Underground’s City series document her approach to longer mixes. Her own catalogue moves from “Contradiction” and “In My Mind” to the seven-track AURA album and “run” with Angèle. “One Mind,” made with Charlotte de Witte, adds a collaboration with another Belgian techno producer. Across releases, mixes and radio, she links forceful club music with vocals that offer a point of connection inside its intensity.
