AMÉMÉ is the artist name of Hubert Amémé Sodogandji, a Benin-born DJ and producer who works between Brooklyn and Berlin. His sound joins Afro-house foundations to tribal percussion, soulful vocals and contemporary deep-house and tech-house grooves, reflecting the musical cultures he absorbed in West Africa and later in New York. He founded One Tribe, a label and creative community built around connection, art, fashion and music. His releases have appeared on One Tribe, Crosstown Rebels and other electronic imprints, and he has also remixed Omah Lay’s “Understand.” AMÉMÉ’s international sets and Ibiza work extend the same bridge-building idea to dancefloors, with an emphasis on movement, ancestry and shared experience.
