About

The sound

Andrea Oliva is a Swiss DJ and producer whose early musical education came through record collecting and a job in a record shop. Access to promos and white labels helped shape his selections before residencies at Terminus and Pravda. Working with Agi Isaku of Basel’s Nordstern, he also developed the Banditz parties in Switzerland. His studio career grew through releases on VIVa Music, Saved, Be As One and Cadenza, followed by work for Hot Creations, Desolat, Truesoul and other club imprints. Tracks including Vermona, My Way and Scream sit alongside his 2015 Objektivity album 4313. His remix catalogue includes music by Thick Dick, Groove Armada, Tiga and Catz ’n Dogz. Oliva later established All I Need as a platform for music and creative expression. Recorded sessions for BBC Radio 1, Boiler Room and Mixmag provide further examples of his work as a selector.
