About

The sound

Anetha is a French DJ, producer and trained architect born in Bordeaux. After moving through London to Paris, she studied architecture and helped establish the Blocaus party and label project in 2012. Her production debut, the Ophiuchus EP, appeared on Work Them Records in 2015. Her music brings techno and trance together with melodic and experimental elements, an approach that also shapes her DJ selections. In 2019 she launched Mama Told Ya with a close team, followed by the Mama Loves Ya artist agency in 2020. Her 2024 album Mothearth combines club music, rave and drum-and-bass influences while addressing femininity and sustainability. In 2025 she introduced EXHIBIT, an audiovisual project directed by FEMUR. Fané.e, another label developed with the Mama Told Ya team, uses seasonal release windows as part of its approach to music distribution and environmental concerns.
