The sound

Angelos is a Greek DJ and producer who previously recorded and performed as DJ Angelo. His early interest in mixing developed through record collecting, followed by a residency at Athens club Mamacas. With his brother Gio, he co-founded Global Fantasy, a project that brought international house artists to Greece and helped develop a lasting working relationship with Black Coffee. Angelos began producing in 2011, initially making edits before releasing Let The Music Play in 2013. His music draws on deep and Afro house, with influences including Culoe De Song, Manoo and Atjazz. Black Sheep appeared on Connected Frontline, while his collaboration Lost with Black Coffee and Jinadu opened the Subconsciously album in 2021. His later catalogue includes work with Da Mike, TIMANTI and KEENE, alongside remixes for Catz ’n Dogz, Secret Echoes and Agoria.
