ANITË

About

The sound

Anitë is the DJ name of Anita Bojniku, a Germany-born artist based in Prishtina. She learned to mix through friends during high school and developed a career centred on minimal, house and techno. An early account in FemArt’s 2022 catalogue describes her work at Rock Hotel in Brezovica, where she helped organise electronic-music events, and identifies Traumer as an influence. Her connection to Kosovo’s scene subsequently included Zone Club and UNUM Festival. Her personal archive contains a recorded UNUM set and a Guesthouse mix, alongside a MEOKO recording with Gemza that she has shared on her account. Her selections favour deep grooves and a sustained relationship with the dance floor. Performances in Germany, Italy and the wider region form part of a career that developed through local community work and an interest in underground club music.
