Antares

About

The sound

Antares is an Italian DJ and producer whose work connects house, tech house and techno with an interest in Detroit's electronic traditions. His career developed within central Italy's club scene, including earlier work with Hi Tech Robotz, the B_Side at Red Zone and SweetBabes. He also participated in MOOD Multiclub and helped establish the travelling ReEdit project. Alongside DJing, he has worked in A&R for Roasted Records and Architekt Records, combining selection with independent production. His catalogue appears under Antares (Italy), a useful distinction from other artists sharing the name. Collaborations with Jasev include Party With Me on Piston Recordings and Peace Armony on Sun Generation Records. I Fall, made with Marco Bartolucci, adds another collaborative thread, with an original version and several remixes released through Finish Team Records Young. His recorded mixes and music channels document the same house-focused Italian identity.
