About

The sound

Anthony Middleton is a classically trained musician, DJ and producer, and the co-creator of Audiofly with Luca Saporito. Early exposure to acid house, rave and techno in the UK led him towards electronic instruments; he acquired his first synthesizer in 1992 and began DJing in Marbella. Music technology studies in the mid-1990s and work in London's dance scene developed his production practice, including mentorship from Merv de Peyer. Meeting Saporito in 2002 began the Audiofly collaboration, with projects including Flying Circus, Supernature and Maison D'Etre. Middleton also records and remixes under his own name. His solo catalogue includes Insomniac Nights, The Way, Give Love and a remix of Damian Lazarus and Zoe Kypri's So Low. His ambient project The Darker The Night extends that musical practice, while Portals presents works and experiments through his own creative channel.
