About
The sound
Antonio Pepe is a Naples DJ and producer associated with the city's electronic music scene since the early 1990s. His background includes the Space Race and Loose Club crews, followed by work with International Talent. His musical references range from Chicago house and Detroit techno to electro and other forms of electronic music. The production catalogue documented on Beatport includes contributions to Loose Records' Off Week 2016 compilation and the later Drip Texted release. In December 2022 he made his Unrilis debut with Basslogon, the label's ninety-ninth release. The EP places his melodic original Brighter alongside Blackploid's electro interpretation, then closes with the bass and percussion of the title track. Those recordings also appear in his Spotify catalogue, providing a clear connection between the credited producer and the listening profile. His work spans established Naples connections and releases aimed at different corners of the dancefloor.
