ARACIL

About

The sound

Aracil is a Spanish DJ and producer whose musical development connects northern Spain, London and electronic club music. Raised in a musical family, he moved to London at seventeen and began DJing within the city's local scene. He later started working on his own productions after relocating in 2012. His sound ranges from deep house to melodic techno, drawing on Berlin's electronic influences and balancing energy with harmony. In production, he places an emphasis on storytelling, using the contrast between melancholy and euphoria to shape a track's direction. His recorded work includes Other People, a collaboration with Niconé featuring Jinadu released by Einmusika in 2018. No Reason on Dantze and the Mangestu EP on Seven Villas document further parts of that catalogue. These releases connect his melodic production approach with the broader house selections that inform his DJ practice.
