Arkadyan is the stage name of Arkadi Hakobyan, an Armenian DJ who began performing in 2005. The Yerevan-born artist has also worked under Aziz Kilic and in the Fecr-i Ati duo with Nazif Kerem Guroglu. His sound moves through techno, tech house, progressive, psychedelic club music and bass-heavy experimentation, while a more recent base in Wellington extends that practice beyond Armenia and into a wider touring network. His studio releases and festival sets carry those styles into a broader touring practice.
