Armin van Buuren is a Dutch DJ, producer, radio host and label entrepreneur whose work helped carry trance into a global audience. Born in Leiden, he studied law while developing a parallel production career, then built an international following through original records, remixes and the weekly A State of Trance show, launched in 2001. His catalogue includes the albums 76, Shivers, Imagine, Mirage, Intense and Embrace, while Armind, A State of Trance and Who’s Afraid of 138?! sit within Armada Music, which he co-founded. His tours and Ibiza residencies connect studio experimentation with high-energy club sets.
