About
The sound
Asher Swissa is the Israeli producer also known as SKAZI, with a solo project focused on melodic techno and progressive house. This strand of his work uses slower tempos than his psytrance productions, combining melodic writing with guest vocals and club rhythms. Its early catalogue includes Buzzing, Where Are You Going, Burning, Special K and That’s Who We Are, with releases on Ibogatech and Siona Records. The solo name has since become a home for collaborations across several house and techno labels. Arak, made with Eran Hersh, arrived on Make The Girls Dance Records in February 2025, and the pair also recorded Habibi. Other collaborations include Hafla with T-Puse for Dharma Worldwide, Electric with Miss Monique and SANDHAUS for Siona, and Can’t Break A Heart with Joezi and vocalist Lynn on UNCOMMON.
