ATRIP

About

The sound

ATRIP is a London-based electronic producer whose music draws on house, UK garage and the emotional possibilities of club records. His influences include Moderat, Jamie xx and The Prodigy, alongside earlier encounters with artists such as Benga, Kode9, Pendulum and Noisia. Rather than aiming for one fixed mood, he describes wanting his music to provoke an emotional response. The period around the 2020 lockdown helped shape the direction associated with releases such as Junction 3 and Ginger. His catalogue also includes the TANZ and KLUB series, Keep Up, langur and the October 2026 single pull u right thru. Remixing forms another part of his practice: discussing work for Disclosure and Wilkinson, he described beginning with the vocal and rebuilding the music around it. Alongside the studio, he has emphasised community and the significance of bringing his music back to a London dancefloor.
