About
The sound
BASS VIP is the Athens-based DJ duo of Antonis Milionis, known as Baste, and Theodore Makris, known as Mak-T. The shared project brings their work together within the city's drum and bass scene, with documented appearances at venues including Lust Athens and IT Athens. Their recording Sloppy Bass appears on Paperfunk Recordings' Various Artists Vol. 6 compilation, published in March 2026. The label presents the collection within dark drum and bass, techstep and neurofunk, giving the duo's track a context alongside other producers working in those sounds. The release connects their activity as selectors with a studio recording, while the BASS VIP name remains the joint identity of both artists.
