About

The sound

Bea Sylvan is a Swedish DJ born and raised in Stockholm. Her sets move between melodic, Latin, Afro and tech house, often incorporating soul and R&B vocals. She has played across Stockholm's club scene and internationally, including in Seoul. While studying at Stockholm School of Economics, she played student parties and nightclub sets. An office job after her studies led her to reconsider music as a profession, and she returned to DJing full time. Her work has since expanded to production, singing and songwriting. She builds sets around the room and its audience, adapting to the venue, sound system and time of day. Alongside performing, she manages bookings, travel and the wider business of an independent music career.
