BEAR WINDER

About

The sound

Bear Winder is a DJ and music maker born in Spain and raised in South London. Her sound draws on house and garage, moving between deeper selections, soulful vocals and Balearic influences. Working with both vinyl and digital formats, she builds sets around the relationship between older records and contemporary club music. Her background includes appearances at London venues such as Ministry of Sound, Egg and The Cause, as well as festivals including Farr and Snowbombing. A London Sound Academy talent-search win and a 2021 collaboration released through Captum Records form part of her early documented career. She has also contributed to radio outlets including House FM and Reprezent. Beyond her DJ work, she runs OSO:DEN, a platform, party and label focused on underground talent. Her artist catalogue also connects her with Soul Revolution Records and DVINE Sounds. Across these activities, her work combines the UK’s house and garage traditions with the broader musical influences that inform her sets.
