About
The sound
BLANKA is a Berlin-based DJ and producer whose techno centres on taut rhythms, raw textures and carefully controlled intensity. She co-founded Room Trax, a label and event series linking Barcelona and Berlin. Her recordings and performances share a spare, focused approach, with room for detail inside the momentum of the dance floor.
BLANKA works across DJ performance, production and event curation. Room Trax provides an outlet for both established and emerging artists, while her own releases also appear through SK_eleven, Mutual Rytm, Soma Records and AMTK+. Her performance history includes Berghain, FOLD, Bassiani, Basement and WOMB Tokyo, connecting her production work with different club settings.
Her 2025 Room Trax album Forest Ritual explores her voice across seven tracks, placing whispered and sung elements alongside rhythmic club material and more spacious passages. Why Are You Here, In the Shadows and Conjuro show different parts of that recorded project. Emotional Intelligence followed through Room Trax in 2026, adding another release to a catalogue that develops vocal texture alongside the focused rhythmic approach of her earlier work.
