Boys Noize

About

The sound

Boys Noize is the project of German-Iraqi DJ and producer Alex Ridha. Based in Berlin, he works across techno, house and electro, combining a club-focused practice with production and collaborations beyond dance music. His catalogue includes Oi Oi Oi, Power, Out of the Black, Mayday and +/−, alongside the more directly club-oriented Strictly Raw releases. Ridha has produced for artists including A$AP Rocky, Lady Gaga and Frank Ocean, while collaborations with Skrillex and VTSS connect different parts of his electronic output. Fine Day Anthem and Steady Pace are examples of those partnerships. After years of releasing through Boysnoize Records, he developed ONES & ZEROS as another outlet for music and related creative work. DJing remains a central part of that practice, linking his studio experiments back to the dancefloor.
