About
The sound
Byron Yeates is a DJ, producer and Radiant Records label head whose musical path runs from Galway to Berlin. His involvement in club culture grew through organising parties and learning how music changes a shared space. Living in Berlin widened that perspective, and he approaches a DJ set as an evolving conversation with the room: playful and propulsive, with changes in tension and release. His recorded work includes Sweat Ur Prayers and Splitstep, both released in 2022, followed by Time Machine in 2024. Ascension, made with Lawrence Lee, adds a collaborative chapter, while the ten-track PANSY BEAT arrived in 2025. Radio recordings and mixes offer another route into his selections, extending a practice shaped by curiosity, community and a willingness to move across styles.
