The sound

Call Super is the principal recording name of London DJ and musician Joseph Richmond-Seaton. His practice brings music production together with composition and art direction. The Present Tense helped launch Houndstooth, the label associated with fabric, followed by Black Octagons and Depicta/Acephale. His first album, Suzi Ecto, arrived in 2014; Arpo followed in 2017. Alongside Call Super, Seaton records as Ondo Fudd for The Trilogy Tapes. His catalogue also includes work with Beatrice Dillon on Hessle Audio and releases for Dekmantel. His DJ work is documented through a fabric mix and a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix, extending a practice that moves between individual recordings, longer album forms and the sequencing of a DJ set.
