Calvin Harris

About

The sound

Calvin Harris is the Scottish DJ, producer, songwriter and vocalist Adam Richard Wiles. His albums I Created Disco and Ready for the Weekend introduced an electro-pop sound before 18 Months and Motion expanded his catalogue of vocal-led dance records. His collaborations include We Found Love with Rihanna, Sweet Nothing with Florence Welch, Outside with Ellie Goulding and One Kiss with Dua Lipa. The Funk Wav Bounces albums brought a different set of collaborators and a stronger funk and disco emphasis. Volume 1 includes Slide with Frank Ocean and Migos, while Volume 2 followed in 2022. The 2024 collection 96 Months gathers another part of his recording history. Alongside releases under his own name, Harris has also explored club music through the Love Regenerator alias.
