About

The sound

Camrin Watsin is a DJ and producer from Kildare, Ireland. He began making music in January 2022 using a studio setup in his father's office. With a hip-hop producer and DJ father and a singer mother, his early influences crossed hip-hop and dance music, including Massive Attack, Souls of Mischief and Reflekt. He shared his first production, What Do You Want From Me, on SoundCloud, then developed a wider audience through releases including Kisses. Belters Only and Jazzy have been important mentors. In describing his developing sound, he has pointed to house and speed garage alongside the vocal dance music and hip-hop that shaped his early listening.
