About

The sound

Carlita is a Turkish Italian electronic producer and DJ. Her 2024 debut album Sentimental, released on Ninja Tune, moves through piano-led house, disco and more reflective electronic songwriting. Its musical range draws on her broad listening habits and the sounds encountered through travel. Planet Blue and Forever Baby emphasise the album's brighter house side, while Falling introduces a gentler guitar texture. Trouble Symphony features her mentor DJ Tennis. The Moment reworks an idea from her earliest production experiments in 2015, and Time centres the album's more personal, introspective writing.
