About
The sound
Cassy is a DJ, producer and vocalist whose work moves between house and techno. Born in England and raised in Austria, she moved to Berlin in 2003, worked at the Hard Wax record shop and became one of Panorama Bar’s early residents. That grounding in record collecting and extended club sets also runs through her recorded mixes, including fabric 71 and her contribution to the Panorama Bar series. Her 2016 debut album Donna brought her voice into the foreground alongside her production work. In 2017 she founded Kwench Records, releasing her own music and records by artists including Ron Trent, Fred P and DJ Sneak. Her 2025 EP It’s Time marked the label’s fortieth release, placing acid-tinged house alongside the more classic feel of My Loving.
