Chicane

About

The sound

Chicane is the electronic project of English musician and producer Nicholas Bracegirdle. His music connects melodic house and trance with ambient textures. Offshore established the project’s identity, while Saltwater reached the UK top five and Don’t Give Up, recorded with Bryan Adams, became a UK number-one single. That mix of atmospheric production and vocal songwriting also runs through collaborations with artists including Cher, Tom Jones, William Orbit and Natasha Bedingfield. Alongside his work under the Chicane name, Bracegirdle runs the Modena label, continuing a career focused on the melodic side of electronic music.
