About
The sound
Chris Liebing is a German techno DJ, producer and label founder whose career developed through the electronic scene of the 1990s. Alongside his club performances, he built CLR into an outlet for records and long-form DJ mixes. His AM/FM series and CLR podcast have made the recorded set an important part of his work beyond the booth. His productions also explore a slower and more atmospheric side of electronic music. Burn Slow, released on Mute in 2018, was followed by Another Day in 2021; his remix work includes Depeche Mode and Goldfrapp. That range connects his techno background with songwriting, texture and album-length listening.
