About

The sound

Cinthie is a German house DJ and producer whose work also encompasses record labels and the Elevate.Berlin record store. A vinyl collector since 1995, she brings the swing of New York house, the rawness of Chicago records and Berlin’s club energy into sets that connect different generations of the music. Her productions have appeared on Heist, Aus Music and her own 803 Crystal Grooves. The 2020 album Skylines – City Lights expanded that studio work into a full-length statement, followed by her DJ-Kicks mix in 2022. She has also taken a hardware-based live show to festivals including Sónar and MUTEK. Record selection remains part of her work away from performing: she personally selects the stock at Elevate.Berlin. The DJ-Kicks series had influenced her listening since the 1990s, giving her own contribution a connection to her earlier musical education. Her later Get Up EP, released by Heist in 2025, brings together Deep Inside Love, Higher and its title track, alongside a Higher remix by Demi Riquísimo.
