About
The sound
Cloudy is a German DJ based in Cologne whose sets combine hard techno and schranz with a strong sense of groove. She began DJing in July 2021 and developed connections with Teletech and Cologne’s Adrenaline collective. Her selections move through heavy bass and hard-edged rhythms, using vocals and melodic tension to vary the intensity. Her 2023 contribution to Teletech’s XXL Invites series captures that approach in a recorded mix. Rather than staying at one level of pressure, her style joins darker passages with more emotional moments, keeping the physical drive of techno central to the set. Her musical background also includes piano, which she began playing at ten. After learning the technical side of production, she released GIRLS 001, a three-track 2026 project built around female voices. The record comprises MIRA PA YA, YDWT and HORA 2:40, extending the recording work first heard on OTRA HORA.
