About

The sound

ClubKid is an Athens DJ, promoter and music programmer whose house foundations extend into acid, progressive house, techno, Italo house and electro. His sets draw on 1990s dance music, while his work in the local scene also includes booking and music direction at six d.o.g.s. Long associations with Cantina Social and Crust Basement sit alongside Danceteria, which ran from 2012 to 2022, and the queer club night Slam!, founded in 2019. His recorded catalogue includes Way Back with ELIOT, with versions by Mikael Delta, Tareq, Tolis Q & Ad.Mark and Digital Riot.

His club connections extend beyond Greece. Berlin appearances have included About Blank, SchwuZ and Polygon Club, while London dates have taken him to Dalston Superstore, the Royal Vauxhall Tavern and Phonica Records. In 2023, he played The Carry Nation at The Good Room in Brooklyn and the HARDER club night in New York. He has also played Gucci events in Athens and Munich. These different settings accompany a practice rooted in house music and extended DJ sets, alongside the continuing work of organising nights and programming music in Athens.
