About
The sound
Crown Prince is a Dubai-based DJ whose published mixes include the BOUNCE series and SUPA SOCA MIAMI ’23. His Mixcloud archive brings together hour-long BOUNCE episodes and a longer soca selection. A 2015 LargeUp feature identified Miami as his hometown and described him as a soca and reggae selector living in Dubai. In that feature, he discussed finishing his summer tour at Miami Carnival before returning to Dubai for winter residencies, and described Supa Soca as his carnival podcast series.
He also appears in Surf Club’s Family Affair programme, which connects his Dubai club work with a setting for R&B, hip-hop and Afrobeats.
