About

The sound

Curol is the artist name of Brazilian DJ and producer Carolina Ribeiro. Her sound joins Afro House rhythms, organic percussion and contemporary melodic writing, carrying Brazilian references into club sets and festival stages. Her releases connect with labels such as Spinnin Deep, Armada Music and All Day I Dream, and her performances have reached rooms across Europe and the Americas. She is recognised for a percussive, elegant style that works across intimate dance floors and large outdoor stages. Her work also extends to A&R for Nature Recordings. Her recordings include Soul Gazing with Bhaskar, Firme Forte e Fiel with Xinobi and RUBY, and Cometa with Mezomo and Berimbouse. These collaborations place her percussion-led sound alongside other producers and vocalists while adding to her own release catalogue.
