Curses is the Berlin-based project of a US-born musician and DJ who combines New Wave and post-punk atmosphere with EBM, Italo-disco and dark electronic grooves. The project uses aliases including Venice Arms, Lolo Paradiso and Tutto Vetro, and its releases connect with Italians Do It Better, Riotvan and related underground labels. Guitars, ghostly vocals and cinematic studio production give Curses a distinctive club language that can move from romantic synth textures to tougher body-music pressure.
