CYRIL is the stage name of Australian DJ, producer and multi-instrumentalist Cyril Riley, raised in rural New South Wales and now based in Darwin. He learned guitar, piano and drums before moving deeper into DJing and electronic production, carrying the melodic instincts of country and folk music into contemporary dance records. His breakthrough came with the 2023 remake of Chris Norman and Suzi Quatro’s “Stumblin’ In,” a deep-house reinterpretation that spread from short-form video into radio, streaming and charts around the world. The track became a major Australian success and reached high positions across Europe, while CYRIL’s remix of Disturbed’s “The Sound of Silence” translated another familiar song into an atmospheric club record. His catalogue also includes “The Door,” “Still Into You,” “There She Goes,” “Fall At Your Feet” with Dean Lewis and the 2024 EPs From Down Under and To The World. CYRIL’s production style favors clear melodies, warm low end and recognizable hooks, turning well-known songs into buoyant dancefloor arrangements without losing their emotional center. Beyond remixes, he has continued releasing original material such as “Tears Dry Tonight” with James Blunt, “World Gone Wild” with Sam Martin and the 2026 single “Good Morning Angels,” while maintaining live work built around DJ sets, instruments and an approachable, high-energy presence.
