Da Vid

About

The sound

Da Vid is an Italian DJ and producer, born in Rome and shaped by the club scene around Riccione. His work on the Romagna coast began in 2008, including a residency at Classic Club in Rimini, where playing vinyl alongside newer technology helped develop his approach to the dancefloor. He later became a resident at Cocoricò in Riccione. His recording catalogue includes releases on D Floor Music, Monday Morning, Optikal, Leone Music, Related and il Muretto Recording. Openado and Destino appeared in 2023 through Thanks for Sending, bringing his club practice into two original productions. His performance history also includes Amnesia Milano, il Muretto, Link and Red Zone, together with The BPM Festival in Mexico and appearances with Elrow and Social Music City. Beyond club nights, he has worked as resident DJ for the Italian fashion label Numero 00 and played its Milan Fashion Week events. These residencies, recordings and fashion engagements connect several parts of his career, from the Rimini and Riccione clubs where it developed to productions and performances in other settings.
