About

The sound

Dan Ghenacia is a French DJ and producer whose musical development began in the Paris rave scene. Time spent in San Diego and contact with DJ Mark E Quark broadened his interest in house records; after returning to Paris, he opened Traffic Records. He later became part of Apollonia, extending his work into a shared DJ and production project. His interests also reach beyond conventional club formats. With Tolga Fidan, he developed Art of Wave, connecting music and visual art, while Dig Da Dub explores reggae through remixing. The Alpha Wave Experience brings together sound, design and generative art. Projects including The Clock at Colnaghi in London and Oracle have given that audiovisual work an exhibition setting. These projects sit alongside his continuing identity as a DJ, showing how his interest in listening environments extends into installation and visual practice.
