About
The sound
Datsko is a DJ and producer from Galway whose music combines trance melodies, vocal hooks and fast club rhythms. He grew up listening to hip-hop alongside trance and techno, later drawing inspiration from fellow Galway artist Kettama and Mall Grab's early mixes. Those influences sit behind a sound that moves between nostalgic melodies and contemporary dance-floor production. His releases include work for HOUZ, Coalition Records and God Gives Records, as well as the 2025 Reboot Records single “Run Run.” He also released I AM DATSKO independently as a collection of ten original tracks, choosing that format to bring together material that did not fit a single label's style.
