About
The sound
Dave Pearce is a British dance DJ, producer and broadcaster who created and originally presented BBC Radio 1's Dance Anthems. Before joining Radio 1 he hosted the KISS FM breakfast show, and his broadcasting career also includes programmes for BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, MTV and Clubland TV. His DJ sets connect trance, electro house and progressive house with classic dance records. Alongside his compilation work, he developed Delirium as a record label and a trance radio programme, combining his own productions with selections from the wider scene. Dance Anthems and Delirium reflect the two linked sides of his work: introducing dance music through radio and presenting it in the club.
