Dave Pearce is an English dance DJ, producer and broadcaster whose career links radio, club culture, compilation curation and trance production. He started as a teenage DJ on South London pirate station Radio Jackie, moved through BBC Radio London and Kiss FM, and became the creator and original presenter of BBC Radio 1’s Dance Anthems. His energetic, uplifting style spans trance, electro house, progressive and classic dance records, with sets built around anthemic peaks and reworked favourites. Pearce’s voice and programming helped make Dance Anthems a Sunday-night institution, while later broadcasts on BBC 6 Music, BBC Radio 2, MTV and Clubland TV extended his reach beyond the club. He has sold more than one million mix-compilation albums in the UK, including Dance Anthems, Euphoria and The Dance Years, and has recorded Delirium and Trance Anthems projects for labels such as Ministry of Sound, Telstar and his own Delirium imprint. As a producer he has released tracks including “So Damn Beautiful,” “Florecer,” “Alegria,” “Sundar,” “Ayla” and “Togetherness,” receiving support from artists such as Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, Markus Schulz and Paul Oakenfold. His long-running Ibiza and Ministry of Sound residencies connect his broadcast authority to the dance floor, while the Delirium radio series continues his focus on progressive and trance music. Pearce’s work remains rooted in making big, emotional dance records accessible without losing their club energy.
