About

The sound

David Bay makes indie, disco and house music from Hamburg. His work spans DJ sets and live performances, as well as original productions and reworkings of songs from outside club music. His releases on Zissou Records include “Chasing Highs” and “Catch Me (If You Can).” He has also brought a disco approach to Angus & Julia Stone's “Big Jet Plane.” These recordings place original songwriting and reinterpretation alongside the dance-floor side of his work, connecting indie influences with house and disco.
