David Guetta

About

The sound

David Guetta is a French DJ and producer whose records connect electronic club music with pop songwriting. His first album, Just a Little More Love, arrived in 2002, followed by Guetta Blaster and Pop Life. The 2009 album One Love brought together tracks including “When Love Takes Over,” “Sexy Bitch” and “Memories,” establishing a series of collaborations with singers and rappers. Nothing but the Beat followed in 2011 with songs such as “Titanium,” “Without You” and “Turn Me On.” He continued that collaborative approach on Listen in 2014 and 7 in 2018, working with artists including Sia and Nicki Minaj. Across these albums, dance production and guest vocalists became recurring elements of his recording work.
