About

The sound

Dennis Cruz is a Spanish DJ and producer whose work centres on house and tech house. He began DJing at seventeen while studying sound engineering, later gaining studio experience with hip-hop artists and rock bands. His electronic catalogue includes releases through Solid Grooves, Snatch!, Suara, Lemon-Aid and Crosstown Rebels. For Roots, his 2021 album project, Cruz developed ten tracks that brought Latin and funk influences into house and minimal production. Working with Damian Lazarus, he shaped music for both club sets and listening beyond the dancefloor. What U Doing paired his production with Leo Wood’s vocals, while Ahora Todo Va was a collaboration with Josh Butler. The Snake Charmer EP followed on Crosstown Rebels in 2023, extending the recording relationship beyond the album.
