About
Dennis Louvra is a Dutch electronic music composer, DJ and producer based in Hamburg. His sound joins melodic house with deep, organic and Afro-house influences, using warm synth lines, weighty low end and hypnotic rhythmic movement to create long-form emotional journeys. He began experimenting with production while working a conventional nine-to-five job; after burnout he left that routine, sold his belongings and spent a year travelling in a van while committing himself to music. The period led to ‘Fly With Me’, his breakthrough release on VOD in 2024. Since then he has issued music through VOD, Magnifik, Madorasindahouse, Unreleased and other electronic labels, including originals and collaborations such as ‘CBO’, ‘In My Mind’, ‘Wonder’, ‘Without You’ and ‘My Heart Is On Fire’. His remixes and productions have received support from &ME, Rampa, Adam Port, Black Coffee, Shimza, WhoMadeWho and Andrea Oliva. Louvra’s performances are framed as vulnerable, uplifting journeys: he blends patient transitions with melodic tension so a room can move from introspection to release. His identity links Netherlands roots with a Hamburg base and a growing international footprint across Europe and beyond. The same focus carries into his DJ sets, where deep atmosphere, organic percussion and melodic groove are balanced for a communal, euphoric feeling.
